Many people use drugs without knowing how much damage they can cause side effects or otherwise underestimate them. I am among them, often have recourse to a drug that many asthma sufferers is to use almost daily, the ventolin. I went to check on pubmed and I found that it can cause tachycardia and muscle tremors (this explains a lot). It is a well-organized site, allows very detailed research, enough to know a little 'English and learn to define the limits of research to reduce drastically the results (otherwise the risk of being completely overwhelmed by a mountain of information). I think it is an essential tool for a physician today, but perhaps still not suitable for a first year student. In my opinion it can be really useful for people who already know the subject and only need updates on new theories, discoveries and treatments of various kinds.
